I've read a lot and there's a lot of conflicting information. I'm new to all this and half the info I read is either too technical or too focused on music or gaming or whatever.

It was plug and play (usb) and it works well so I went and install the drivers for it (although Win10 recognizes the card on its own) and it installed this SBX Studio Pro control panel. Until I buy a new machine and a Schiit stack this will have to do. Since my montherboard is pretty old and crappy I got a Soundblaster Omni 5.1 to drive the headphones and a mic for VoIP. Connect the included 3.5 mm cable to the headset and test with a PC, Mac or mobile device.I recently picked up a pair of ATH-MSR7 for use with my computer.Press and hold the hardware reset switch with a pin for two seconds.Remove the left side plate (on the mic side).

If a firmware update is available, a Blue ""Update"" button would appear under the firmware version on the top right corner of the screen.Launch the software, select the device from the home screen then go to Settings.Download and install Logitech G-Hub (Available here: ).Right-click on the device, and then click Test.

Is there a fix for that ? Yes and I'll give it to you but this is just not a sustainable fix, and we need logitech to release a full permanent fix.įIX : Go to the DTS App > DTS Tab > Settings > Explore Spatial Surround > Play the audio, and the DTS crackling will disappear.

So basically you have a G PRO X wireless that cost £200, said to be compatible with DTS sound unbound, but this is fake adverstisement.

Why would we have to make a peition you might ask yourself ? Simply because Logitech, and DTS, are ackowledging the issue but they just dont do nothing about it, and this is the situation for a year at least. This is a widely known issue and if you search with a few keywords, it's present all over Reddit. There's even some petition to sign. When you enable DTS headphones X on your PRO x or PRO X wireless, there is a crackling sound that makes it horrible to listen to, and basically meaningless to use.Īs a reminder, Logitech sell these headsets as compatible with DTS, but the reality is that IT'S NOT. This is just unacceptable so I prefer to warn you guys before you buy a Logitech headset.

Just wanted to highlight this issue, that is already quite famous, but still no proper fix have been released it.
